Match Play 21

Match Play 21 an interesting variation of blackjack.

The game of Match Play 21, which is also known as Spanish 21, is a variation of Blackjack. The objective of Match Play 21 is for a Player to come as close to 21 without going over, while still having a higher total than the Dealer. Prior to receiving any cards, the Player must place a wager.

When the wager is made, the Player is dealt two cards face up. The Dealer is also dealt two cards. If the total value of the Player's cards is closer to 21 than the Dealer, the Player wins as much as was wagered. The Player also wins if the Dealer goes over 21 and the Player has not busted. If the Player's total goes over 21, the Player loses the amount wagered.

Match-Play Rules:
8 Match Play decks are used, the 4 10's have been removed from each deck, all other face cards remain.

Cards are re-shuffled after each hand
Dealer must hit soft 17
A Player 21 always wins (except vs a Dealer blackjack)
A Player Blackjack beats a Dealer Blackjack

A Player may double down on any # of cards, but only one time, and will receive only one card.
